Hi There! I Am Currently:
- developing tools for language model evaluation at Groq
- evaluating models to optimize site reliability at Rootly (YC S21) AI Labs as a Member of Technical Staff
- improving drone localization accuracy at the DECAR Lab at McGill University
- running open source benchmarking hackathons (socials)
- and hosting ML reading group meetups in Toronto this Summer and earlier this year in Montreal!
My past experience includes developing vision models for the Canadarm program at MDA Space, testing drones at ACSL in Japan as a Cansbridge Fellow, and co-authoring a workshop paper on distilling state space language models that was accepted at ICML 2024.
I'm Actively Looking For
- research roles in robotics related to sensor fusion, autonomous navigation and self-supervision
- research roles in ML related to improving model architectures, with a focus on state-space and optimizer acceleration
Please feel free to schedule a coffee chat through my Cal.com, I look forward to meeting you soon!
